October 2: Senator Hoeven said Tuesday that he supports Judge Kavanaugh's Supreme Court appointment. Hoeven says Kavanaugh has a long record of upholding the constitution on the bench. He says while it's important to treat the accusers with respect, he says he's going with the facts. (KFYRTV.com)

September 28: On Friday, Hoeven said the new inquiry will come on top of six FBI investigations that Kavanaugh has already undergone. “It appears that this is necessary to secure enough votes for his confirmation, but it should be done expeditiously so that we can complete the confirmation process in a fair and orderly way,” he said in an emailed statement. (The Jamestown Sun)

September 27: In the confirmation process for the Supreme Court we must make decisions based on facts. Judge Kavanaugh has clearly denied the allegations against him. Any allegation of sexual assault is serious however and Dr. Ford gave her account, but the facts do not support that Judge Kavanaugh was involved. All of the people that Dr. Ford said were at the event specifically say they have no recollection of it ever occurring. That includes Dr. Ford’s friend Leland Keyser. It is truly unfortunate that Democrats on the Judiciary Committee did not follow the standard bipartisan investigation practices of the committee. Based on his lifetime record of achievement, I believe Judge Kavanaugh should be confirmed. (senate.gov)

August 1: I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Judge Kavanaugh today to discuss his judicial philosophy. Having served for more than a decade on the federal appeals court, he is highly qualified to serve on the Supreme Court. Judge Kavanuagh has a strong record of upholding the law rather than legislating from the bench and his approach to the law shows a deep respect for the Constitution. Given his years of experience on the bench and his commitment to upholding the law, I believe that Judge Kavanaugh is a solid choice for the Supreme Court and I look forward to supporting his confirmation to serve on the Supreme Court. July 10: I'm very supportive of him, just based on his track record and everything I've seen. I'll meet with him, we'll have a dialogue. But I'm supportive. He's the kind of person that will be a strict constructionist -- meaning uphold the Constitution, enforce the Constitution, and that's what we need... (AM1100TheFlag.com)

July 9: Tonight, @POTUS nominated Brett Kavanaugh to serve on the Supreme Court. Judge Kavanaugh’s record shows deep respect & strict interpretation of the Constitution & I look forward to meeting with him as the confirmation process gets underway. #SCOTUSnominee (Twitter)
